THE COLORS OF RABBITS
ARE ALL RABBITS WHITE WITH RED EYES?
Absolutely not!! There are a rainbow of colors to consider: white, black, blue, brown, grey, red, orange, lilac, silver, copper, bi-color (or broken pattern), tri-color and every shade in between (except green!).
Eye color can be red (ruby), blue , brown ,
blue grey , or marbled.
Eye color is in no way related to disposition.
Rabbits with patterns of white and a color are called A Broken. Some resemble a Dalmation dog in pattern and some look like a paint horse.
Tri-colors are similar to a calico cat with a white body, colored saddle markings accented by a third color spots.
Harlequin patterns are either striped or patched in alternating colors and are very striking in appearance.
