CONDITIONAL WARRANTY

I PRIDE MYSELF ON BEING A RESPONSIBLE BREEDER WHO WOULD NEVER KNOWINGLY SELL AN UNHEALTHY OR AGGRESSIVE RABBIT. WITH THAT IN MIND I CAN OFFER THE FOLLOWING ASSURANCE TO MY CUSTOMERS:

I OFFER A FULL REPLACEMENT WARRANTY OF LIKE KIND AND VALUE WHEN AVAILABLE WITHIN THE LIMITS OUTLINED BELOW:

1.  ANY RABBIT THAT BECOMES ILL WITHIN 10 DAYS OF PURCHASE.

2.  ANY RABBIT THAT DIES WITHIN 10 DAYS OF PURCHASE.

** RABBITS THAT BECOME ILL OR DIE MUST BE RETURNED FOR REPLACEMENT. **

Return the rabbit for care if necessary. No vet bills will be reimbursed.

3.  ANY RABBIT THAT DEVELOPS AN AGGRESSIVE ATTITUDE AT ANY AGE.

While we breed specifically for disposition and make every effort to carefully evaluate the personality of each bunny and attempt to match them to the individual purchasing them, sometimes it is just not a personality match. In the event that the animal doesn't settle in to it's new environment, we encourage you to return it for a replacement. I don't want anyone to have a pet they aren't comfortable handling. It doesn't do the rabbit or the owner any good to have a bunny banished to a backyard cage and ignored because he doesn't want to be handled. We extend the length of this warranty do to hormonal changes that may alter a rabbit's personality up to a year of age.

NO CASH REFUNDS

*************** EXCLUSIONS: ***************

ANY EVIDENCE OF NEGLECT, INJURY OR ABUSE (IN BREEDER'S OR VETERINARIAN'S OPINION) WILL VOID WARRANTY.

HEALTH GUARANTEE IS VOID IF RABBITS ARE HOUSED WITH OTHER ANIMALS PROVIDED BY OTHER BREEDERS. Rabbits CANNOT LIVE WITH GUINEA PIGS or Chinchillas due to varying dietary requirements which can be fatal to rabbits.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS.

Young rabbits are prone to stomach upsets when presented with abrupt changes in feed. We feed a very high fiber feed and changing that feed too quickly can cause diarrhea and death. All rabbits are sent with several days supply of our feed which will allow time to obtain more of the same feed or to mix with a feed available locally.

Always measure feed and serve fresh daily. Basic ADULT RATION: 1 oz. (dry weight) Per pound of adult body weight. Netherland Dwarfs 1/4 cup, Dutch 1/3 cup, Mini Rex and Holland Lops 1/2 cup, French Lops 1 to 2 cups. Babies may have double the adult ration up to age 3 months for smaller breeds, to six months for large breeds. During extreme cold weather outdoor rabbits ration may be increased by half.

If you must change feed we recommend mixing equal parts of original feed, Old Fashioned Quaker Oats and new feed. Gradually increase new feed and decrease original feed. Any sign of diarrhea indicates poor tolerance of new feed. Withdraw new feed and replace with Quaker Oats until stools return to normal. Then reintroduce mixed feed gradually.

Feed hay or straw at least once a week. Timothy hay preferred, Oat Hay or straw. Alfalfa is too rich for regular use. DO NOT FEED FRUITS OR GREENS TO BUNNIES UNDER SIX MONTHS OF AGE. NEVER FEED LETTUCE OR CELERY!

RABBIT FEED: We feed our own exclusive blended feed and rabbits are sent home with a starter supply.

ALTERNATIVE FEEDS: Templeton,  Nutrena Show,  FARMERS BEST, Manna Pro.  Avoid pet store feed in plastic bags.
