Start a  day or two before the show:

Carrying cages prepared with water cups, litter in trays, E-Z mats for the floors, chew sticks and willow rings.  Oh!  And don't forget the rabbits!

Check your entry form and make up cage tags to identify Class, variety and sex of the animal.

Prepare pedigrees and sale signs for any rabbit you plan to sell at the show. (Be sure to check the show catalog to make sure sale animals are allowed!)

Take along extra pens.

Don't forget your business cards and a card holder.

Take a map of where you are going!

Make up a gallon of drinking water for the rabbits (with Vanodine added to reduce transport shock)

Lightweight white sheet (allows air to penetrate but not the sunlight) to throw over cages to keep direct sun off of the rabbits during transport and to keep the car cool while at the show. Just drape the sheet over the windshield and secure by closing the door on the edges.

Grooming table (folding for easy storage but large enough to offer a stable base)

Folding chairs (when shows allow them we stack our cages to compensate for the space the chairs take)

If you have wooled breeds don't forget your blower and extension cords.

BUNNY BE CALM BAGS

This clever design by Kathy Rairden of Rair-Find Rabbits has been a real life saver for me and my rabbits.  I don't think I could do a tattoo anymore with it.

It keeps the rabbit firmed secured and feeling safe during tattoos or nail trimming .  Well made of sturdy canvas with soft fleece lining for the rabbit's comfort.  Nose opening allows breathing ventilation, Velcro closure openings on the bottom for easy nail trimming and top openings for ear tattoos.  Easy zip closure.  This is a must for the showman or 4H Group.   Many 4H groups are purchasing the Electric Tatto pen and this great little bag for the club and all the members can use it.

We have carried this superior pelleted litter for a couple of years and the response has been overwhelmingly positive.

While we intended to offer it to rabbit breeders to reduce ammonia in their barns and for pet owners with house rabbits we soon found our customers were using it for lots of different applications.

Advantages over other products seem endless but these are just a few:

Cost effective  just $6.00 including tax for 35 pounds. Just a thin layer of pellets for small animals and a few inches thick for large livestock.

A very little product goes a long way

Rabbits will use it in litter pans and not eat it.  Urine is easily removed because it swells up when wet. Removing the wet litter and the dry pellets keep on working. I wouldn't have a rabbit in the house without it!

Used rabbit litter makes great much for flower beds.

Cat breeders are really hooked on it becuase it has no unpleasant flowery odor and is the most absorbent material on the market not to mention, much less expensive.  This product can be wet first to reduce it to a coarse powder for use in litter boxes and thereby increases the volumne by 1/3.  Far less expensive than conventional cat litter.

Perfect for rodents, guinea pigs, reptiles, poultry and other small animals.

Excellent bedding for trailers for more comfortable transport.

We use it to absorb rain water and to make walkways less slippery.  The pellets turn to dust when wet and can actually be dried and reused!  It helps keep weeds down in our walkways in the outdoor rabbitry area.

Use in carrying cages is a must for odor control.  Nothing worse than a long trip with pets in the car without good odor control.

Environmentally friendly. No trees are cut down to make this product.  It is made from sawmill waste.
